Big City Ink is a state-of-the-art tattoo studio. We feature award winning international artists. Our shop is Board of Health certified, safe and clean. We use only single use needles to guarantee your safety. For your privacy we offer private booths. Our staff is very friendly and helpful, and will help you to choose a tattoo from our thousands of designs. You can choose from traditional to modern, or we can create something custom just for you. We specialize in cover-ups and have years of professional experience.

• Leave the bandage on for at least 2 hours, no longer than the next morning.

• Remove the bandage and wash the tattoo with mild unscented soap. Do not let the shower head directly hit the tattoo. When clean, pat dry with a towel (do not rub). Let air dry for 5 minutes. Do not re-bandage.

• Apply a pea size amount of A&D ointment or hydrocortisone ointment to your fingertip. Rub ointment into tattoo until it’s absorbed into the skin. Do not apply heavily, tattoo must be able to breathe.

• Check the tattoo every hour, if it is dry re-apply (see step 3). If it’s still moist, leave it alone.

• After about 2 or 3 days, the tattoo may begin to peel like a sunburn. If so, DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH at the tattoo. Let the flakes fall off while rubbing in ointment.

• Use ointment for 3 to 5 days then switch to a fragrance free hand lotion such as Curel or Lubriderm.

• Do not submerge tattoo in water (no baths, pool or ocean) for at least 2 weeks. Keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight as well tanning beds.
